2017 marks the 36th running of The Patos Island Race.
This race is open to all PHRF and approved one-design racers.
The Patos Island Long Course is a Van Isle 360 qualifier and the event counts towards the Vancouver Island Racing Series (VIRS)

Friday, March 31:

1600 – 2000 Racing packages and Transponders available in the clubhouse
1730 – 1930 Dinner.  All-inclusive premium buffet $30.00 / person.  Each dinner ticket also includes one free breakfast ticket
2000 Weather and Tide briefing
2030 Skippers Meeting

Saturday, April 1:

0800 – 0900 $5.00 – pancake and sausage breakfast.  Includes coffee, tea, juice
1100 Long Course starts off Sidney waterfront. Short and Day course to follow.
All Evening Pub Menu available in the clubhouse bar
After Midnight Complimentary Chili, buns, and coffee, tea, juice available for
sailors returning overnight

Sunday, April 2:

0800 – 1100 Sunday Morning Brunch available at a reasonable price
1200 Closing ceremonies and awards presentation in  the SNSYC clubhouse

Friday Dinner:


Friday night’s dinner will be an all-inclusive premium buffet at $30.00 per person. This will also include a free breakfast.

Available at the Yacht Club’s guest dock, North Saanich Marina. See map.
Van Isle Marina will also offer a nightly moorage rate of $1.00 per foot per night + electrical for any participants in the race.  Reference the Blackline Patos Island Race at the front desk or the fuel dock when you make your reservations.
